I am a member/director of the firm.I practice primarily in the areas of civil litigation, criminal defense, and labor and employment. I have won trials for my clients in State and Federal Courts, and I have prevailed in appeals before the Maine Supreme Court. I have also won many private arbitrations. I serve as counsel to the Maine Association of Police, the Maine State Troopers Association, the Maine State Law Enforcement Association, and the Maine Education Association. I also frequently conduct independent investigations for private companies, government entities and non-profits. Before becoming an attorney, I was a Sergeant with the Portland Police Department, where my responsibilities included complex investigations in criminal and employment matters, collective bargaining, and supervising training and development. In 2005, I was the recipient of the Robert B.
