My name is Jonathan Pass. I am a graduate from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Technology with a concentration in a Professional Flight Officer. I also have a minor in Management. I previously worked as a pilot for Great Lakes Airlines flying the Beech1900, I flew for Republic Airways flying the EMB170\175. I currently am a captain at Flexjet flying the Challenger 300/350, previously flying the Phenom 300 and the Learjet 45/75. I started to fly when I was 16. Worked throughout high school to get my private pilot license and then once I reached college I started to work on my instrument and commercial rating. In college I was an intern at a non profit organization called AeroAngel where I was tasked with creating a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to help aid Crew Resource Management (CRM) in the cockpit of a Citation Mustang. In creating this SOP, I was in contact with many industry pilot's that offer insight and training on the subject. I also tested the SOP in the real world by both simulator flying and real world flying. Also throughout college I was an employee at Metropolitan State University of Denver working in the Aviation and Aerospace Department in the World Indoor Airport (WIA). I was a lab specialist which consists of taking care of the entire WIA lab as well as the Aviation and Aerospace building. My skills have grown immensely since I started this job. As an employee, our main concern was keeping our simulators up and running. That involves both a technician's point of view as well as a pilot's point of view. I had to problem solve on a daily basis. In addition to the simulator maintenance, we have over 50 computers that we control. We are in charge of keeping those up and running also. I started to specialize more into the computer world. I was in charge of all maintenance to our computers as well as projects that involve the IT world.
