Develop LabVIEW code that runs semiconductor equipment sold internationally to manage pressure, temperature, and data collection of a vacuum chamber plasma system using RTDs, pneumatic valves and RF generator. Communicate with coworkers and clients to address new required software features including process logs, RFID scanning, recipe execution, software redundancy and safety interlocks.Design GUI and control software in Python for bench top plasma reactor handling touch screen input, plasma power, pressure, recipe execution and data collection. Select software and hardware components to complete project and work with engineers on product hardware layout and wiring.Test new hardware with breadboard prototypes, create wiring schematics with Eagle and KiCad and develop embedded software to run them in Labview and Python. Hardware includes pneumatic vacuum chamber door, RF generators, turbomolecular vacuum pump, stepper motors and Siemens and NI PLCs. Design systems from prototype to finished product.Travel internationally to analyze and resolve technical problems on site, including software issues, electrical wiring and mechanical vacuum failures. Determine within a few days what repairs are needed and if a part needs to be replaced.Organize and run experiments to test product prototypes using a matrix of test parameters and JMP software to find operating constants and develop production recipes
