3 month Contract - Hired on a contract basis to help the company prepare for the launch of a new product. My role was to maintain the current partnerships (including professional football clubs and athletes) for the brand and seek new partners to improve the reach of the product launch. As part of the Marketing Team I was also involved in scoping and formulating a launch strategy for this new product across digital, including search, social and display, and above the line.

As Club General Manager my role was to run the business as if it were my own. The business is a large-scale health club with over 3500 members with 15 fulltime and part time employees and over 60 casuals. ⇒ Sales Management: Consistently lead the sales team to exceed monthly budgets and annual budgets. Achieved top growth club nationally in 2015.⇒ KPI Management: Developed and monitored KPI’s across all areas of the business. Including Member retention, New membership sales, Member engagement and Yield.⇒ Business Development/Account Management: Developed large amounts of new business by both directly contacting and clients and by building relationships with local sporting teams/brands, schools, businesses and professional athletes.⇒ Marketing: Sole responsibility for local area marketing campaign strategy. Organized several community events partnering with key health related business’ to provide a unique experience for the member and drive new business. Consulted on national campaigns on an ad-hoc basis. ⇒ Training and development: Setting personal goals for individual team members and providing training and support to encourage internal promotions, increase buy-in and reduce turnover.⇒ Performance: Lifted productivity year on year through processes that heightened ownership. Driving revenue line of the business with a renewed focus on member retention to maintain positive EBITDA growth in a challenging marketplace that was challenged by the introduction of small 24 hour health clubs.⇒ Project Management: Managed a major acoustic floor upgrade at the club. Lead the execution of an eight-month plan to keep the facility open and negotiated a free lease agreement for an alternate space to conduct group fitness activities to minimise disruption. At the completion of this project was recognised by Goodlife in the form of the “Goodlife Vibe award for customer excellence”.

Promoted soon after Goodlife’s takeover of Genesis my role initially was to facilitate the change of brand and the introduction of new systems and company values. Responsible for leading, managing and training the sales staff as well as achieving high personal sales targets.
