Responsible for familiarity and use of military and industry specifications and standards for guidance in the reviewing and preparation of technical software. Develops Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) processes andkeeps CM/DM plans current. Manages the document control process; tracks, reviews, and analyzes deliverableproducts; and supports configuration control meetings. Participates in Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCAs/FCAs) to ensureconformance of drawings and specifications used in the manufacture and testing ofweapons system parts/components. Prepares input to Configuration Management plans, Software Management plans, andSoftware Transition plans. Evaluates engineering data and documentation, drawings, parts lists, engineeringchange proposals, notice of revisions (NORs), and engineering release records (ERRs) todetermine completeness, adequacy of detail, and technical accuracy. Performs configuration and data management assignment
