Master of IP LawBE (elec & comp sys), BSc (physiology)After several years of engineering experience across various high-tech manufacturing companies, I began work in 2008 at a respected Australian IP firm and qualified as a patent attorney in Australia and New Zealand. My practice there included all aspects of preparing and prosecuting patent applications, patent oppositions, validity and infringement opinions, searching, and registered designs. I came to Israel in 2017, working at a leading Israeli patent attorney firm, before joining Essence in 2018, as their IP director.Before working in patents, I led a team at a medical device manufacturing company to develop an electro-mechanical device for treating sleep apnea. I also spent four-and-a-half years as an electronic design engineer at a multinational scientific instruments company. My projects included designing a high-voltage power supply for an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer, and control electronics for a high-pressure liquid chromatography system.
