About Jonathan Sharp

My research interests include: - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - Radiation Therapy - The Foundations of Quantum Mechanics and SpacetimeI have been at the University of Alberta since 2014. I am co-inventor of a silent, low-cost MRI technology (TRASE), described by a reviewer as of “primary importance in the field of MRI.” and has been featured in 'Nature' Research Highlights. An MRI console based on my design is installed in sites in Canada and Europe (TMX MRI Console). I have worked on NMR spectroscopy, NMR microimaging (at the lab of Nobel Prize wiiner Sir Peter Mansfield). My specialty is localization and imaging methods. I worked on the team that invented and commercialized the IMRIS intraoperative MRI.Other: Foundations of Quantum Mechanics.
