I have just stepped down as Head of the European region and member of LEK’s Global Leadership Team. I remain a Senior Partner based in our London office and a highly active member of L.E.K.'s Healthcare Services practice in Europe. I have almost four decades of advisory experience in strategy consulting, M&A and merchant banking. I have been a partner since 1996 and lead our European Healthcare Services practice. Our practice has been the recipient of multiple awards in recent years (2010-19) for both strategic advice and transaction support work. I have a deep understanding of, and wide ranging experience, across the healthcare market in Europe both in healthcare services and medtech. I have also worked extensively in financial services and business services in the UK and internationally over many years and co-led the Financial Services practice for many years. Prior to L.E.K., I was an executive director of the merchant bank Samuel Montagu, which became part of HSBC Investment Bank, having worked in specialized financing, project financing and corporate advisory roles. I also have interests outside of these sectors. For example I served as a non-executive director for 13 years on the board of Churchill China plc, the U.K. based ceramics manufacturer, acting as Chairman between 2007 and 2013.
