As an Assistant Registrar in the Academic Records area, I focus on business process improvement leveraging SMU's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions ERP. I maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders across the University and work to identify areas of inefficiency and develop creative solutions. I have led several end-to-end projects and initiatives including the design and rollout of a digital grade change approval workflow and the development of an early-intervention grading process to identify students who may be struggling academically earlier in the semester.I am responsible for all ERP functionality in the Academic Records area and coordinate customer support, quarterly testing & maintenance, business process documentation, user and customer training and workflow mapping. I also oversee reporting of the University's enrollment data to the federal government and constantly monitor changing regulations to ensure SMU stays in compliance and updates processes accordingly.

In this role, I supervised campus-wide use of Ad Astra Academic Scheduling and Perceptive Content Document Management softwares. I was responsible for front-line support, user training, implementation of new functionality, security and the coordination of user testing during system upgrades. I had the unique privilege of serving on multiple implementation teams including the launch of the High Point Campus Experience product to improve the interface our students use for enrollment, schedule planning, messaging and tracking degree progress. I also served on the implementation team for the rollout of Advising Notes technology, which gave academic advisors new CRM functionality to communicate with students and track advising interactions. I was a member of the Academic Advising module within the Registrar's Office where I created and maintained 185+ degree plans within SMU's instance of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. I also served on the Academic Scheduling team where I coordinated scheduling across SMU's eight schools and supervised the scheduling of courses, updates to the academic catalog, tracking of student enrollment and the utilization of classroom space across campus.
