Maintains network systems including server hardware, operating systems, software, and services including Active Directory, VMWare Vsphere, Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, and Google Apps. Supervises and evaluates the district network team. Responsible for the district’s telecom and data services contracts, and all e-rate eligible funding. Manages directory services and integration with all systems that leverage directory services. Implements network security, recognizes necessary network improvements, and works with the district technology managers to implement improvements. Maintains the content filter, firewalls, archival systems, and servers. Manages the Google Apps for Education control panel, users, rights, permissions, and integration with other services. Manages the software and administrative control panel behind company-wide phone and security system, maintains these systems, and executes upgrades. Ensures the resolution of district-wide network help desk issues. Helps recommend software and hardware products and other equipment that are most suited for use within the districts infrastructure. Serve as a technical expert in network problems and emergencies.

Responsible for Community Consolidated Park Ridge – Niles School District 64 infrastructure and technology implementation, as well as the district technology budget and technology plan. Transitioned district to Google Apps for Education and prepped district infrastructure for 1:1 wireless environment. D64 consists of approximately 4500 students and 700+ faculty and staff. Key software utilized includes Powerschool Student Information System, Websense, Websmartt, RevTrak, Destiny, Active Directory, Open Directory, LDAP, Exchange, Google Apps, and Skyward.
