Successfully led a team of engineers in a cross-organization initiative to migrate Amazon interview feedback data and APIs from a shared monolith into domain centered microservices. This effort involved creating replacement APIs, migrating data from a shared Postgres DB to DynamoDB and integrating with Kinesis data streams for real-time events from other domains. Improved feedback page load times on Amazon’s internal recruiting website up to 75% by improving backend data aggregation APIs to fetch data in parallel and by caching and reducing the frontend JS bundle size.Designed and implemented an enhanced existing feedback collection system at Amazon for candidate phone screens. This feature helped users provide more structured feedback data, improved readability for other users and business analyst teams and saw 60% adoption by users within the first three months of release.
