I am full B1 and B2 licensed on Bombardier Dash 8 100/200/300 and the Embraer ERJ 135/145 and B2 on the Q400. and have also completed a Airbus A320 B1/B2 type course and a genfam course on the ERJ 190. I started my avionics trade apprenticeship in Tamworth doing heavy and line maintenance before being offered a transfer to Brisbane. In Brisbane I gained my electrical, instrument and radio (B2) licenses shortly after finishing my apprenticeship and have been involved in break down recoveries, troubleshooting defects and scheduled maintenance including COA for new aircraft. Currently my role as engineer in charge involves - Manage, maintain and service the company fleet of ERJ145 aircraft- Control and Maintain stores including batching and dispatch of parts and tool control.- Co-ordinate and supervising work done by LAME’s/AME’s- Managing AOG’s, ongoing defect and reliability- Carry out maintenance watch function- Plan and schedule maintenance for a fleet of aircraft- Control aircraft documentation- Train pilots and ground crew on operation and servicing of aircraft.
