Tectah is one of the UK's fastest-growing payment providers. Specialising in bothEPOS and Card Machines, the goal is to bring payments to everyone at affordablerates. As well as Tectah there are several other brands, each with their own focus thatwork in harmony with each other, these are: Payb, foodb, Reatilb, Free CardMachine and Orderingb.As their Senior Graphic Design, I oversaw maintaining the multiple brands underthe Tectah name as well as leading the branding/rebranding on both Tectah andseveral of the other brands. We created strong social media identities for all thecurrent brands so day to day involved keeping these relevant with both regular andpaid social posts, we also started to experiment with creating video contentin-house to drive more engagement across the brands. Both myself and the team alsoproduced a range of printed materials and leaflets for or events such as exhibitionsand client meetings. Ad-hoc tasks were incredibly varied but included creatingartwork for the office, branding up signs to maintain our aesthetic/brandawareness and to work alongside the programming team to design the UI/UX ofour various till softwares - foodb & Retailb.

James Villa Holidays is the UK’s leading villa holiday specialist with over 2900 villas in more than 50 destinations. Founded in 1984, and based in Maidstone Kent, we have over 30 years of experience handpicking villas across Europe, Florida and the Caribbean.As a graphic designer, my role is to maintain but also push forward the established the brand that James Villas has. Day to day involves working with the Marketing Communications team to be provided with work and push the brand forward and to create engaging and exciting options for a new design, everything from social posts to bi-yearly travel magazines that are sent out to an audience of around35,000. As well as working with the MarComms team, I also liaise with the web team in regards to when large promotion campaigns or offers are being put out to help guide the design process and to make sure we achieve the best result for not only the web but also for any print materials that are to go along side them.

ID&C is the UK's largest provider of festival wristbands for both personal and commercial customers, with this came a fast-paced, demanding but ultimately rewarding work environment.As an artwork designer, I was responsible for the fast turnaround through multiple design channels within the business. Day to day involved dealing with online customer orders which could entail anything from providing mock-ups of artwork, digitally proofing the orders and making amendments where necessary and then liaising back with the customer for approval to process the order. The other aspect of the job came from larger clients who may submit a request for artwork via one of the sales team or may be a repeat client such as Live Nation, SJM, etc with either festival requests or bespoke one-off bands for an event. Primarily working in Adobe Illustrator we had to provide full, professional mockups, within a timely manner and to the strong specifications of the clients brief or even sometimes given more creative control. This came on top of managing all other aspects around the design side of the business so organization and a keen eye for detail were key.

I was the sole designer so I had full creative control over the 5 venues we had: The Command House, The Stag, The Unicorn, The Yeoman and Bar Chocolate). I was responsible for every aspect that went out such as pos, social media content, off-site advertising such as billboards, internal digital screen adverts, menu designs, etc. I was also responsible for giving the 4 restaurants their brand style and maintaining the guidelines.Outside of the design work I also had to liaise with outside companies to work with them on a variety of projects such as the KM for external advertising via the web, radio, print, etc, I also worked with a range of professional print companies to achieve the best-looking result for the material we couldn’t print in house and so it was my responsibility to not only produce the artwork within our guidelines but make sure everything was print-ready.

I worked on a variety of projects from food manuals for chefs, posters and print materials to be sent out to the restaurants, promotional material to be handed out at job fairs, amongst many more. I was responsible for the re-design of the internal newsletters for all 4 of the Prezzo group brands (Prezzo, Chimichanga, Cleaver and MexiCO) and it’s weekly updating. I liaised with the marketing team to help create exciting and engaging graphics that not kept within the companies strict brand guidelines but also aimed to create a high level of engagement.
