For over twenty-five years, I have been helping businesses develop creative, cost-effective solutions to legal problems. I am admitted in Alabama and Texas, but my practice is national in scope. I have handled matters in over 30 states, and I have particularly broad experience handling bet-the-company cases, managing multi-district litigation and coordinating significant cases in multiple jurisdictions to ensure consistency in legal strategy across a docket. In my role, I collaborate with in-house counsel, key executives and other stakeholders to develop and execute legal strategies that maintain business priorities while protecting my client’s legal interests and mitigating risk. In that regard, I create and lead cross-functional teams in various disciplines, including economics, statistics and data analysis, engineering, medicine, insurance and risk management. In addition, I frequently advise companies on compliance with regulatory requirements and provide guidance during investigations by government enforcement agencies. I also have handled class actions, contract disputes, corporate recovery cases, antitrust issues, industrial construction claims, employment matters, and non-compete claims.I am a member of the Alabama and Texas State Bars and the Defense Research Institute.
