Current• As the Edit Manager on "Inside Out 2", I lead and mentor a team of 15 direct reports. I guide the edit team through Pixar's iterative "reels process". I organize regular screenings at pivotal milestones in the film's production cycle. These screenings provide opportunities for Pixar and Disney Executives to assess creative progress, offer input, and develop budgeting strategies. With each film iteration, the film undergoes repetitive refinement, steadily improving in quality and storytelling finesse.• I skillfully manage upward by leading weekly whiteboard planning meetings with key stakeholders, including the director, producer, EVPs, and Chief Creative Officer, ensuring alignment on production priorities. I provide comprehensive overviews on project statuses, fostering accountability and proactively enabling adjustments to meet evolving creative needs.• Diligently manage labor budgets for the film's edit department, optimizing resource allocation to maximize efficiency while upholding financial integrity and cost savings.• Successfully managed a team of 12 layout artists on "Turning Red," fostering collaboration and empowering artists to explore cinematic boundaries while adhering to efficient production timelines.
