30 years of experience in economic development as an environmental scientist, lawyer and senior manager with positions in non-profit, government, academia, and private industry groups. In these activities I have sought win-win solutions to complicated development issues in the allocation of resources to the needs of society and the protection of natural resources. Using extensive experience with Federal environmental laws and executive training, I managed small and large organizations which did projects in economic development, industrial waste management, transportation, international trade, agriculture, energy, toxic substances, nuclear waste, pesticides, coastal resources, fisheries management, transportation, water supply and waste management. Functional work was in project management, technical advise, strategic/long-term planning, project evaluation, quality control and legal case support. Our projects were performed in over 30 countries and the United States. Clients included private industry, international manufacturers, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, and many U.S. Government agencies.
