Principal Natural Resources Team Leader
-- Project focus on management of environmental services on California-wide transportation projects. Extensive experience on Highway Bridge Program (HBP) projects in San Luis Obispo and surrounding Counties, including Monterey, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Kern and Santa Barbara. Responsive and active management of on-call services for several local agency clients, in addition to direct support to Caltrans through various on-call contracting mechanisms and teaming relationships since 2006. -- Direct experience in preparation of technical reports including: Endangered Species Act (ESA) Section 7 Biological Assessments, Caltrans Natural Environment Studies, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents, habitat mitigation monitoring plans and sensitive species survey reports. -- Management of numerous small- and large-scale compliance monitoring efforts for utilities, transportation and development projects throughout California. -- Client navigation of the federal and state permitting process, including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Section 404 Nationwide Permit Applications, Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) Section 401 Water Quality Certifications, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) 1600 Streambed Alteration Agreements. -- Extensive experience conducting field surveys for various sensitive plant and animal species throughout California.
