As the HR Outsourcing Manager, I am responsible for the delivery of HR administration and operations services. Working across workforce administration, onboarding, talent acquisition, L&D, contact centre and global mobility, I make sure that our outsourced teams are delivering services to high standard, are continuously improving, and are prepared for transformation activities.I develop deep and trusted relationships with my internal stakeholders, and our provider, to identify opportunities for process and technology improvement, and simplification. Simplification of HR processes is key to helping employees navigate such a large company, and it's something that I really enjoy. I improve operational effectiveness of PwC by maintaining commercial, quality and performance metrics. I use data analytics and visuals to develop mine and others understanding, and I report to senior leadership regularly.I manage and mitigate risk by ensuring our outsourced provider remains compliant at all times. This includes working with internal audit, IT, procurement, and data protection teams.As well as being responsible for the delivery of services of over 200 people, I am also career coach to a small number of individuals which includes pastoral care, performance management and skills/career development. I have an excellent understanding of the full scope of HR services and operations at PwC.

This was a secondment within the 'Workforce of the Future' Technology team. This involved selecting, project managing and improving the systems that support our recruitment and marketing processes. My role required me to drive projects forward and lead other team members, and continuously seek new ways to improve myself, my knowledge, and everything around me. I also participated in design workshops and supported with investigating system issues, which evidences my agile outlook and my ability to prioritise effectively.

Working in this internal recruitment role, I enjoyed building strong and trusting relationships with hiring managers and candidates across many industries and specialisms. I worked with senior stakeholders and potential and existing candidates/customers, and drove a high-performing recruitment function. This involved working with agencies, suppliers, other recruiters, and also sourcing candidates myself. I was also entrusted with owning and building our talent pooling workstream - which meant conducting skills gap analysis activities, working with marketing to attract more workers according to our gaps, and then keeping candidates updated and motivated. I enjoyed evidencing the success of this programme with statistics and regular business reviews. I also led a team of sourcers that developed our contingent worker talent pools in accordance with the firm's Workforce of the Future strategy. I also maintained oversight and acted as an escalation point for contingent recruitment within Consulting, Tax, Risk Assurance, External Audit and our Deals lines of services at various points in time - evidencing my adaptability and ability to quickly develop my understanding of a new business area. Finally, I enjoyed being involved in lots of exciting projects that transformed and evolved PwC's recruitment function.

I was the dedicated Resourcing Business Partner for PwC UK Consulting. I enjoyed developing relationships with candidates, engagement leads and with agencies. I was also involved in creating contingent worker talent pools.

I worked for REED Talent Solutions - the Managed Service Provider for a range of companies. I enjoyed recruiting candidates into the banking industry, including into several high profile projects. My team were consistently the top billers within Reed Talent Solutions and I enjoyed being a key member of a high performing team.

I worked at HSBC Bank at their global headquarters in Canary Wharf. My responsibilities included providing recruitment advice to HR Generalists, Business Partners and the hiring community for HSBC Wealth Management.

I undertook a 3 month unpaid internship in order to develop my skills in an industry that I saw matched my strengths very well. I am trustworthy, hardworking and love building relationships - and I identified that these are the core skills of a recruiter.
