About Bryan Jones

I have been working in IT for 25 years, building a management career in a field that started as a personal hobby. Professionally I have been commended for many years of providing computer services that still include a human touch. In addition to technical experience I have found success in communicating the softer side of the computer industry. This includes venues such as co-hosting a weekly “Computer Talk” AM radio show, conducting introductory classes for beginning computer users, and teaching degree-seeking courses at an accredited Southwest Florida career college. These experiences add to my harder technical skills and allow me to communicate IT issues clearly with less technical business units of an organization.For the past few years my major focus of work has been on the architecture, planning, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange infrastructures in multi-national, multi-business unit environments. Additionally I’ve been extending my experience building dedicated purpose appliances using open-source platforms. My career has expanded into the management of IT systems, including personnel and budget.Specialties: Active Directory and Exchange multisite/multi-unit architecture, server architecture, network architecture, SMTP/POP/DNS/DHCP/FTP/IIS management
