I developed and implemented a strategic approach to Primary Legislation across the Department for Transport. This involved leading a departmental review and producing ministerial advice and briefings for ExCo to prioritise legislative priorities for the second session of Parliament, as well as supporting business planning efforts.Co-led the Department for Transport’s bid process for Primary Legislation in advance of the 2024 General Election. I collaborated closely with the DfT General Election Cell and engaged with various stakeholders across the DfT Private Office, as well as the Parliamentary Business and Legislation (PBL) Committee, No. 10 and Cabinet Office. In my central advisory and coordination role, I guided policy teams across the Department for Transport on Retained EU Law in the aftermath of the UK's exit from the European Union. My responsibilities included advising on parliamentary processes, ensuring adherence to parliamentary and international obligations, and developing or revoking statutory instruments to "tidy" the statute book.

I led the UK Government's strategy for International Travel Certification during the COVID-19 pandemic. I oversaw the implementation of Vaccine Certification policies. This included appraising and proposing the acceptance of vaccine certificates from other countries and territories, as well as leading international negotiations for mutual recognition of vaccines and their certificates.

As the Priority Projects lead for the HM Government Global Travel Taskforce, I spearheaded efforts across Whitehall and engage bilaterally and multilaterally with foreign governments. My focus was on designing, developing, and implementing policies that facilitated the safe restart of international travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. I also led briefings and provided strategic advice to senior officials, Ministers, the Cabinet, and No. 10.

I led the development of commercial, financial, and sponsorship models to attract private sector investment in a major government infrastructure project. Additionally, I oversaw the technical integration of the Southern Access to Heathrow and Western Rail Link to Heathrow projects.
