About Jong Eun Lee

I am an assistant professor of political science at North Greenville University, teaching courses on International Relations, European Politics, American Foreign Policy, and American Government.Previously, I taught as an adjunct faculty at American University, teaching courses on East Asian international relations, peace and conflict resolution, and theories of foreign policy decision-making.I have a Ph.D. from the American University School of International Service. My dissertation's title is "To Comply or Not Comply: Explaining Allied Noncompliance to Great Power's Coercion."My research specialty is US foreign policy, alliance management, intra-alliance conflict, international security, and East Asian geopolitics.
