Performing a Technical Instructions function within the Typhoon Support Centre (TSC) for all tasks associated with Technical Instructions applicable to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Typhoon fleet including Technical Warnings (TWs), Special Flying Instructions (SFIs) and Special Technical Orders for either an Inspection requirement (STO/Is) or a configuration change (STO/Cs).As directed, interface with BAE Systems Airworthiness Authority for the nationalisation of RSAF TIs and in-service queries relating to issued TIs.As directed, interface with RSAF HQ for the approval and authorisation of Technical Instructions.Provide support to TSC fleet management and Forward Operations maintenance management personnel for the prioritisation and implementation planning of technical instructions.Develop RSAF Engineering Authority (EA) Technical Instructions with relevant TSC Technical Specialists and Forward Operations maintenance personnel including validation and First Time Compliance.Liaise with maintenance management personnel in order to gain feedback and issues relating to Technical Instructions.To receive, store, configure and distribute technical instructions to relevant end-users.Update the databases of Technical Instructions as required, such that they can be individually tracked from issue to completion with a data retrieval system for the preparation of Performance Metrics and Status Reports.Hold regular planning and prioritisation meetings with the Technical Instructions Team Leader.Assisting with the structured On-the-Job training for RSAF and/or Saudi National technical instructions management staff, in form of training, coaching, work experience and mentoring as appropriate.

Compile risk assessment paperwork and discuss project specifications with clients. Deliver quality service and maintain High Resolution 3D (HR3D) acquisition equipment, sensitive hydrophones, high-pressure air systems, air source controllers, and data recording software. Ensure data management issues resolved including recording and management of incoming and outgoing data.

Undertake testing and measuring of Aircraft Secure Communications Systems in accordance with CESG regulations utilising specialist test equipment. Also deployed at short notice around the UK and worldwide when required.Certify Aircraft for the use of secure communications.

Responsible for the testing of aircraft secure communications to CESG standards. Also involved with the writing and certification of the test procedures.

Worked on Avionic systems found on the Nimrod MR2. Working with high voltages and down to component level. Including Flight control systems, and electromechanical sub systems.
