My primary task is servicing Typhoon aircraft batteries, training Royal Saudi Air Force personnel.Also involved in the maintenance, repair and manufacture of Typhoon electrical sub systems. Including nationally sensitive aircraft sub systems. Included in the role of air electrical technician is the scheduled maintenance of aircraft test equipment, undertaking calibrations and routine servicing as and when required.19 months offshore experience with WGP exploration as their only employed Seismic Observer. Responsible for the GeoMetrics HR3D (High Resolution 3D) Acquisition system. 18 months offshore experience with WesternGeco working as an Acquisition Specialist onboard the MV WG Amundsen.15 Years experience of the fault diagnosis and repair of Avionic Systems both on and off aircraft. During this time i have gained 5 years experience as a specialist in the field of secure communications on airborne platforms responsible for the testing and certifying of aircraft to Communications-Electronics Security Group standards (CESG). Experienced in the manufacture of Aircraft wiring harnesses to military standards.Specialties: Fault diagnosis/repair at both unit, card and down to component level of Avionic Systems.rectification to component level.Working with High Voltages.Manufacturing of cables from engineering drawings to military standards.Working as part of a small team to undertake and complete testing and measuring of complex aircraft secure communications systems.
