39 years service in the RAF attaining the rank of Warrant Officer. A practical ‘hands-on’ approach to problem solving, with a wealth of military platforms, and ground support systems. Experience of continued airworthiness, with vast experience in military operations. Seconded to the Kuwait Air force (Loan Service). I managed Puma Depth Servicing with a multi-enthinic workforce. Completed a three year tour as the C-130 Chief Airframe Instructor duties at RAF Lyneham instructing RAF, Foreign Military and Civilian students, after completing four year tour as a C-130 Ground Engineer.Seconded into the Intelligence Corps for approximately 5/6 years briefing on Hostage Survival (Hostage 1985) training all 3 Services, senior members of the Civil Service, Special Forces, Senior NATO personnel in Resistance to Interrogation Techniques.Returned to 33 Squadron (Puma Helicopters) Engineering Flt lea33 Sqn through the majority of the Kosovo Campaign acting as the Force Engineering Officer.Promoted to Warrant Officer (2002).Completed a tour of duty in the Joint School of Training at Cosford. Posted back as WO Engineering 33 Squadron (Puma Helicopters) where I led the Squadron Engineering Team back into Basra after the 2nd Gulf War establishing Puma Helicopter Support Operations in Iraq. I finished my career as the C-17 Engineering Deputy Support Manager located at Wright Patterson Airforce USA within the C-17 USAF / Virtual Fleet Project Team, working alongside the Australian / Canadian Airforces overseeing a myriad of C-17 Engineering upgrades and C-17 UK new buys.My goal is simply to carrying on learning, gaining and applying as much experience, and knowledge in as many fields of Aerospace. I am particularly interested in Environmental, Disposal, Obsolescence, Safety, Air Portability issues.
