With a robust background spanning over a decade in strength and conditioning, coupled with my military service as an Army Ranger in the 2nd Battalion, I bring a unique blend of discipline, leadership, and innovation to the world of sports performance.My journey in athletic performance began in 2010, where I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse sports teams including baseball, soccer, softball, track and field, swimming, tennis, golf, volleyball, fencing, and rowing. Each experience has enriched my understanding of how to tailor performance strategies to meet the specific needs of different athletes and sports.At UC San Diego, I oversee a team of 15 professionals, driving our mission to not just train athletes but to foster a holistic environment where they can thrive both on and off the field. My role extends to the integration of sports science within our athletic performance and sports medicine staff, ensuring our approaches are evidence-based and cutting-edge.Outside of my professional life, I am a devoted father to my amazing 2.5-year-old daughter and a loving husband. These roles are central to my identity and drive my commitment to balance and purpose. They inspire me every day to bring my best self to both my family and my work.I am passionate about leadership and continuous improvement, always seeking to learn, collaborate, and innovate.
