Provide electrical commissioning, start-up, 15 MMTPA, three trains, LNG liquefaction facility located on Quintana Island, Texas. It is the world’s first large-scale electric-drive LNG plant. Freeport LNG broadly applies the latest technologies as well as mega capacity inverter technologies, including but not limited to: a power management control system, nine sets of 75MW inverter packages and two sets of 25MW inverter packages with six motors, 85MW gas turbine generator, hundreds of oil type transformers, 138 kV switch yards and big and small 1000 motors. Ever since being appointed Freeport LNG’s electrical commissioning turnover engineer in July 2017, I have efficiently led the electrical commissioning of both the pretreatment and liquefaction facilities for three years.The commissioning plan for the serial number one all-electric LNG plant was not available from the conventional LNG plant. To ensure the success of the electrical system commissioning of the serial number one plant, everything in the electrical commissioning procedures was re-evaluated and redefined by me.Participated in the following work and related activities:- Developing pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and Check Sheets B in preparation for the start-up stage and substantial completion.- Oversee electrical equipment preservation program.- Review commissioning activities and B check sheet (more than 80% of B check sheet review & sign for pretreatment & liquefaction facility)- Assuring the EPC contractor’s commissioning activities- Providing oversight of EPC contractor- Issue follow-up during the commissioning
