In 2023, I created and launched the Tomorrow's Company ‘Future Skills for Business Programme for Key Stage 4 students in the UK. It is a programme of self-discovery and essential skills development, nurturing the next generation of civic-minded employees, entrepreneurs and change-makers.We bring together over four decades of wisdom, experience and expertise from Tomorrow’s Company, a pioneering charity that has championed the idea of ‘business as a force for good in the world’ alongside world-leading organisations, business experts and policy makers. We have taken this knowledge to create a series of exciting and engaging student workshops, some adapted from sophisticated corporate coaching programmes and all delivered in a unique learning environment designed to reflect the modern world of work, aimed at inspiring maturity and professionalism among our students. Over the course of the ten-week programme the students learn essential skills whilst also developing a sense of self-awareness through a set of behaviour-based self-assessments. We also provide the students with a range of tools to help them develop mental resilience and techniques to help them understand and uncover their own hidden skills and sense of purpose. Students of all interests, backgrounds and abilities are given the opportunity to develop a portfolio of highly desirable and transferable skills that will allow them to more easily seek out meaningful employment, navigate purpose-driven career paths, or possibly start their own business ventures.The final outcome is the creation of a group of confident, enlightened and inspired young leaders, innovators and team players; equipped with a greater awareness of themselves and the world around them and a real sense of the power of business to be a force for good. I set up my own London-based production company in 2012, working on projects with Saatchi & Saatchi, HSBC, P&G, eBay, Discovery Channel, MTV and Heineken. The focus of my work shifted towards sustainability communications for asset managers in the impact investing space.I graduated from the University of the Arts, London, with a degree in Photography. I began working as an expedition filmmaker and photographer alongside my studies, which took me on expeditions to some of the most remote regions of the world to create stories to raise awareness of various global environmental and social issues. Expeditions included trips to Mt. Everest, Nepal, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Egypt, Russia and Iceland.
