I took a career study break to complete the UQ MBA in less than a year, in intensive study mode.

Managed the scope and field engineering of the Propane Refrigerant Compressor area and associated structural and piping systems. Other tasks involved resolving technical and constructability issues, compiling safety, quality and engineering documents into workpacks to enable the efficient completion of scope. Tracked construction progress and coordinated six supervisors, as well as the sequencing of their project scope.• Planned work packs and managed project schedule of scope, for the work crews I was responsible for.• Coordinated practical solutions to design problems, with client representatives daily• Identified work activities that were outside of contractor’s scope of works and added over $10 million to contract value through additional scope and contract variations.

Responsible for supporting the Area Delivery Manager in the integration of planning and alignment of delivery priorities to ensure business plan and gas production objectives are met. Ensure complete gas and water systems are progressed through execution and handed to operations.ACHIEVEMENTS Developed and managed the North Early Dewatering program and Northern Flaring strategy, to ensure that sufficient Coal Seam Gas production had been achieved. Enabled the scheduled commissioning of Field Compression facilities to ensure adequate flare capacity in the gasfields, and support the production rates prior to and after the compression facilities came on-line. Developed operations start-up procedures and methodologies, and reviewed gathering the contractor’s live tie-in procedures, ensuring that they met BG Group standards, and QGC’s Permit to Work system. This improved efficiency and reduced cycle times.Managed the North Gathering Line Flare T-Piece installation campaign, to allow for the collocating and operation of field gathering flares and producing wells. This contributed to increased gas production.Technically reviewed the project handover documentation of gas and water gathering systems, and well site facility static equipment, reducing the review times by 80%Developed and managed the execution of start-up plans for flexible scope (from well to FCS, and from the Access-to-Work milestone to steady-state production) achieving consistency with priorities for gas production and expediting production.Managed key stakeholders to achieve permitting and compliance pre-requisites, for bringing gathering systems and wells online. This enabled the business to reach the final stage gate of project execution and implement safe systems of work.

Lead Project Engineer - Upstream Asset Management Achievements• Contributed to HAZIDS, SIMOPS, and HAZOPS reviews, with operations and engineering consultants to improve health, safety and environmental outcomes and identify risks.• Partnered with key stakeholders to optimise and agree executable scopes of work to achieve operational efficiencies and clearly define scope of work.• Secured internal stakeholder consents and approvals prior to issuing to Asset and Project execution groups to facilitate final detailed engineering design and construction, as per the Upstream Delivery Process.• Clarified and negotiated stakeholder concerns, constraints, and complexities to facilitate strategies and outcomes acceptable to the business and community, and sustain both production and stakeholder engagement.• Identified surface and subsurface constraints, reviewed new information as circumstances changed; and adapted development plans and priorities to best deliver against the Field Development Program.• Facilitated multidiscipline workshops and reviews of business plans and field layouts to engage critical stakeholders and improve design outcomes• Identified safety and environmental risks and coordinated the implementation and control of mitigation measures

Incitec Pivot / Dyno Nobel – Project Aurora$1 Billion+ Ammonium Nitrate plant construction project.Achievements• Managed project contractor and provided field technical guidance.• Provided technical interface between the Operations team and the Project team, and provided technical guidance on inspection and commissioning procedures.• Partnered with the Operations team during the project commissioning phase.• Managed the Punch listing and System walkdown process, in order to deliver systems to the commissioning team, and ensured that all Structural, Mechanical and Piping equipment installed, adhered to project and Australian Standards.• Reviewed and responded to the contractor’s engineering technical queries, and managed through the Management of Change process.• Managed the project completion system, “Completions Connect”.• Managed and reviewed the Contractor’s handover documentation and reporting on project completion progress. • Established key working relationships with the contractor’s engineering team, and provided assistance and direction, through listening, caring and learning from previous mistakes.• As a site Fire Warden, worked closely with the site HSE team to identify safety hazards and maintain an LTI free site.

Pluto LNG Project (Woodside)$14 Billion Oil & Gas project. Scope of work included Construction of Loading Jetty, Slug Catchers, Effluent Treatment Plant, LNG loading and storage facilities, with overall contract value in excess of AUD 300 million.Achievements • Created and managed the project piping testpack documentation, which was the official record of the completion of works, pressure testing and traceability of piping systems, for handover to the client.• Worked extensively with Woodside’s Project Completion System, WinPCS, and provided colleagues with training on its use. • Raised Site Engineering Queries, and followed through with the client with a proposed action, while working within commercial boundaries.• Contributed to the planning and scheduling of the project, through the use of Primavera P6.• Managed the Carry Over Works scope for the project, requiring the requisition of material and delegation of work to various superintendents and supervisors. • Upheld a personal value of safety, and had a personal responsibility to ensure that colleagues maintained the same values and went home safely at the end of each day. This led to winning a number of awards re: safe work practices.

Manufacturer and distributor of Volvo and Mack, trucks and buses, for the Oceania region.• Managed the national Vehicle Off Road Report, which monitored all customer’s vehicles that had delays in obtaining parts or technical issues, which resulted in the vehicle unable to be returned to the customer. • Supported joint projects between product engineering and the Aftersales department.• Developed advanced skills in interpreting Engineering drawings and inspecting vehicle design faults.• Obtained strong knowledge of Volvo’s Global Operating procedures and policies. • Documented engineering technical service bulletins, for the Volvo and Mack product.
