Lead the planning and delivery of transportation infrastructure for Cobb County.

Division Manager overseeing 7 staff, multimodal transportation planning, traffic signal and ITS infrastructure, capital project delivery, permitting, public requests, and grants. Liaison to the public, developers, and regional partners for transportation activities.

Oversee and manage 22 staff (5 sections), $3.7 million annual budget, and $15 million Capital Improvement Program of the Traffic Division of Public Works-Administer and deliver all Traffic engineering improvements-Manage of Capital Improvement Program's Traffic projects-Oversee traffic control activities for all construction and street events in the City-Staff liaison for all Citywide traffic and parking activities-Public liaison for requests, records, Traffic Commission, and City Council-Oversee Traffic Signal Maintenance, Signal Timing, and Signing and Striping Citywide-Create and update codes, procedures, guidelines, and manuals related to transportation

Oversee and manage Engineering Section of Traffic Division. Including-Design: plans, specifications, estimates-Construction: bid documents, meetings and coordination with departments/utilities, inspection, change orders, RFIs-Management: invoices, grant/Caltrans reporting, RFPs, PSAs, contracts-Permits: Traffic control plan approval, coordination with contractors and other departments-Planning support: driveway, circulation, access, and traffic review for all developments, zone changes, conditional uses, and variances-Public Requests: receive, investigate, and respond to all traffic issues (curb painting, signs, striping, stop signs, traffic signals, parking, etc)-Records: maintain inventory of speed surveys, speed bumps, traffic studies, traffic plans, traffic counts, and project documents

*Project Management: Supervised 7 projects, prepared meetings, schedules, and invoices, managed sub-contractors and technical staff. *Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS): Configured, integrated, and maintained various systems (CCTV, Ethernet, Copper, Fiber, Wireless, etc).*Signal Timing/Synchronization: Optimized, configured, and deployed signal timing and coordination for NEMA, 170, 2070, and ATC controllers.*PS&E: Provided technical oversight for field work, design, specifications, and estimates of various ITS, electrical, and traffic signal projects.*Municipal support: Assisted various public agencies by inspecting citizen complaints (sight distance, signal timing, construction signal timing, etc).

*Project Management: Supervised three projects, prepared meetings, schedules, and invoices, managed sub-contractors and technical staff. *Signal Timing/Synchronization: Optimized, configured, and deployed signal timing and coordination for NEMA, 170, and 2070 controllers.*PS&E: Completed field inventory and design, specifications, and estimates of various ITS, electrical, and traffic signal upgrades for 175 locations in the Washington DOT Active Management Project.*Planning: Completed analyses and writing for various traffic impact studies.

*Project Management: Supervised five projects, prepared meetings, schedules, and invoices, managed sub-contractors and technical staff. *Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS): Developed ITS master plans to evaluate existing equipment, propose various upgrades, and create implementation schedules.*Signal Timing/Synchronization: Optimized, configured, and deployed signal timing and coordination for NEMA, 170, and 2070 traffic controllers.*PS&E: Completed fieldwork, design, specifications, and estimates of various ITS, electrical, signing/striping, and traffic signal projects.*Planning: Completed analyses and writing for various traffic impact studies.*Municipal support: Assisted various public agencies by inspecting citizen complaints (sight distance, signal timing, gap studies, school operations, etc).

Created project test plans and coordinated UL safety approvals of products.
