Home Based Counsellor, BACP Accredited Member - Register no 379817.I have a Person-Centred core, and weave numerous theories into an integrative approach to suit the needs of each client.I am experienced in working with clients from diverse backgrounds across a range of ages (18 up to 76), sexual orientations, ethnicities, and religious beliefs. Client base includes Blue Light, HM Forces, NHS, education, and local government.I have experience of working with trauma, depression, health and social anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, sexual identity, relationship issues, learning disorders and work pressures.I conduct psychological assessments to ensure new clients are placed in the correct pathway, as well as signposting to other services where necessary.I have more than 5 years post qualification experience across face to face, online platforms, and telephone. I have a consistent caseload of 20 short term clients a week, manage my own diary and attend monthly clinical supervision and CPD.I collaborate with colleagues, Multi-Disciplinary Teams and external organisations to manage Risk and Safeguarding in clients and ensure the best outcomes possible.I am trauma aware, as well as being a registered Student EFT Practitioner. I hold Enhanced DBS with Update Service. and I am vetted for work with Police Scotland clients.Equality and Diversity champion, having previously held the role of Equality & Diversity Advisor in my previous career.I have experience using CORE, IAPTus, MS Office 365, Google Workspace, and bespoke IT systems.I am an Armed Forces Veteran of 25 years and a Scouts Trustee and love to run long distances quite slowly.
