• Track performance against budget, keep the business units informed of any opportunity and risk identified, investigate anomalies and queries, and resolve issues.• Develop annual budgets, forecasts and financial models to support business planning and performance evaluation.• Review and approve all Balance Sheet reconciliations in a manner that provides insight and creates valuable information.• Guiding accounting support staff and effectively interfacing/communicating with the Corporate Services Teams and centralised shared services functions.• Preparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget and providing commentary on management reports.• Accountant in Charge of supervising the external audit process.

• Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.• Assist with the preparation of the monthly profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reporting, preparation of statutory accounts and Audits both internal and external.• Contribute to the global statutory reporting process, ensuring timely preparation of financial statements that fully comply with accounting standards, legislative and other requirements.• Ensure asset registers are reconciled monthly to the general ledger and any underlying issues are corrected promptly.• Provide support to the forecasting and budgeting process.
