Challenge Partners is a practitioner-led charity that enables collaboration between schools to enhance the life chances of all children, especially the most disadvantaged.As Network Development Manager, I had particular responsibility for: - The development and execution of a national growth strategy, including the evaluation and renewal of our pricing strategy for schools, multi-academy trusts and other groups of schools- Business development activity and building relationships with senior school leaders across England- Ensuring that data about Challenge Partners' schools and impact is used incisively to inform new developments and growthAlso within Challenge Partners, I served as Partnership Manager, responsible for ensuring a consistently high standard of member experience for Challenge Partner schools. Duties included:- Account management: Supporting local networks of schools or 'hubs'- Leadership: Line managing an Associate Partnership Manager- Communications and marketing: Writing regular communications to members, and disseminating examples of excellent practice across the Challenge Partners Network of Excellence- Recruitment and retention: responsible for creating and delivering strategies for recruitment and retention of members- Data management and reporting: responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive records on our central CRM system, and reporting on team KPIs to senior management and board

Team Up's mission is to increase social mobility by enabling university students to empower pupils to academic excellence. As Programme Manager, I was responsible for recruiting, training and supporting university students across the UK who volunteer as English or Maths tutors in secondary schools in their local area. I supervised the roll-out of Team Up's 2013/14 and 2014/15 programmes at 30 UK universities. Duties included:- Design and delivery of NCFE-accredited volunteer training- Supervising nationwide promotional campaigns- Liaising with senior school and university stakeholders- Leading a team of 5 full-time delivery staff- Creating and managing online web content on teamup.org.uk- Managing a movement of 600 volunteers, supporting young people through weekly tuition

Event management, alumni relations and student engagement responsibilities. My chief project was to plan, co-ordinate and deliver the 2013 Alumni Day, in collaboration with alumni engagement and events teams. My chief responsibilities included:- Acting as first point of contact for speakers, staff volunteers and attendees- Producing individual briefing documents for speakers, staff and senior officers- Composing mailings to be sent out to 20,000 students, and 70,000 alumni- Assisting with logging registrants on The Raiser's Edge database- Taking key decisions relating to speakers, running order, publicity, marketing etc.Achievements:- Attendance numbers increased from 188 in 2011 event, to 540 (up almost 200%)- Online registration numbers increased from 518 in 2011, to 1,601 (up by over 200%)- Over 90% of post-event survey respondents rated their overall experience 'Good' or higher (5% up on 2011)Outside the Alumni Day, I assisted with general enquiries relating to membership applications and alumni engagement, with a particular focus on engaging current students and recent alumni. In light of this, I was commissioned to draft a communications strategy for alumni engagement events by the Director of University Marketing, in recognition of the inventive means of promotion used in the run up to a proposed alumni networking event for finalists.
