I have 22+ years of professional experience, working with diverse teams to solve complex problems and deliver exceptional results. Today's challenges are more complicated than ever, and thus we must pull together highly dedicated, passionate, and experienced teams to work within inclusive environments to craft innovative solutions that will provide the very best organizational value. Then, providing the right mix of coaching, advocacy, and support to those teams is essential to ensure their long-term success. This is the work I'm most interested in, and what drives me to perform at my very best.With a UW bachelor's degree in economics and a passion for applying IT solutions, I began my professional career providing customer service and technical support in the insurance and banking industries. This quickly led to joining Yahara Software in 2006, where I spent 8 years developing my core competencies, which include team leadership, project management, and effective communications necessary to create forward momentum and support project success. Finally, I've been a part of UW-Madison for the last 9+ years, working with the best teammates I've ever had here in DoIT's Academic Technology department. The work we're able to do every day is important and meaningful, and I'm honored to be able to contribute to this work.Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to be a part of teams at all levels. Initially in supporting roles, then as a subject matter expert, and most recently as a leader, supervisor, and associate director. In my most recent role, I’ve been thrilled to be able to contribute at both the service and departmental levels. Within the Project Management Group (PMG) I’ve directed the recruiting, mentoring, and retaining of talented and passionate team members who support meaningful change and student success in UW's complex academic space. And, as part of the AT Leadership Team, I’ve been able to contribute to AT’s support of its partners, our IT Strategic Priorities, and the Wisconsin Experience.
