Greetings from Jonathan, a Sydney-based Human-Computer Interaction designer and researcher.I’m passionate about challenging conventional thinking and embracing intuition, producing works that are not only aesthetically pleasing but deeply humanity-centric. I believe in designs that don’t just serve a function, but also tell a story, provoke reflections, break conservative prejudices, and address minor intricacies of life. My research and practices center on the ways technology influences humanity, society and culture, and how social and cultural institutions adapt to these changes. My recent research topics include empathetic human-computer perception, interactive robotic art and design sociology, predominately speculative design on cultural ecology and de-stigmatization. Still, my interests extend to education, filmmaking, minority rights and multiculturalism.I hold a Master of Design degree and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Landscape Architecture.
