Catalyze Partners specializes in the commercialization of proven intellectual property that has immediate commercial potential sourced from the nation’s top defense companies, government research laboratories, and Fortune 50 companies. In this role Jon employs the Catalyze Partners business philosophy to engage with its clients and utilizes its proprietary commercialization formula to determine the assets specific market potential, identify first customers in multiple market verticals, extract the asset for the purpose of establishing a new commercial entity for the Catalyze Partners portfolio of companies. Once formed, Jon serves in leadership and board roles in each of the affiliate companies ensuring they perform to plan, enabling them to outperform their competitors.

Alpine Advanced Materials is an affiliate company in the Catalyze Partners portfolio which specializes in making aerospace parts from Alpine's best-in-class structural thermoplastic nano-composites, HX5. Components have been manufactured with HX5 for jet fighters, high speed helicopters, UAV’s, amphibious transport vehicles, missiles, rockets and satellites proving application and environmental acceptance.

Jon is a co-founder and serves on the Board of Catalyze Dallas’ (now Catalyze Partners) first affiliate company, Metro Aerospace, which has commercialized fuel savings and emissions reduction technology sourced from Lockheed Martin to both government and commercial aerospace markets. Jon previously served as Vice President of Business Development at Metro Aerospace and assisted in forming and standing up the company, pursued strategic opportunities, and cultivated commercial relationships for the Microvanes product. Working in close collaboration with Lockheed Martin, Metro Aerospace brings Microvanes to both military and commercial operators for the C-130, L-100, C-17 and other large rear cargo door aircraft. At SDL, Jon provided leadership in the creation of long-term value through customer acquisition and retention, global market expansion, brand awareness and marketing channel development.Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, SDL Citadel was a renewable energy company that owned, sold and operated patented technology that converted non-hazardous, post-industrial materials (e.g. paper and plastics), biosolids (e.g. human waste) and woody biomass into energy through gasification technology.

Designed and directed advocacy strategies and tactical plans for Energy Future Holdings, TXU Energy and Luminant which resulted in key partner support on policy issues of importance to the business from key opinion leaders, elected officials, chambers, economic development groups, and other key partners
