Manage a growing team, working with business IT to establish a preferred internal processing destination for our diverse businesses while delivering on a strategic vision for improved business/IT delivery.Role spans oversight and ownership of technology products and services, operations optimization, and new service development.

In September 2013, I moved over to manage our Global Operations in India, Manila, Buenos Aires and New York. Managing these sites across all our product offerings entails full operations oversight including technology, facilities, HR policy (comp, benefit, etc.), IT, business continuity and disaster recovery, financial review, compliance to international regulatory models, among other focus points. Enjoying the broader scope and closer integration with the business. Accomplishments have included elimination of non-standard practices in HR, comp, benefits and implementation of consistent model internationally; improvement in third party IT service delivery in remote sites; consistent BC/DR approach; and transparent budgeting and expense controls group-wide.

From 2010 to 2012, I was the senior technology interface for MHFI's corporate technology division to the CIO levels for both S&P Ratings and Capital IQ. I provided Service Delivery Management as well, ensuring service /demand management and collaborating with product development to ensure the needs of the business were addressed. Accomplishments included the creation and co-chair of senior management team to assess and improve full technology product management and delivery models; increased communications and transparency between business lines and corporate technology. Recruited by the S&P Capital IQ CTO in 2012 to work as a senior director in their Technical Operations group. Here I managed 50+ infrastructure professionals encompassing colo operations, end-user computing platforms, program management for desktop VDI, refresh, and large scale virtualization efforts. Led team to create robust IT DR capabilities in US and abroad, for our largest sites. Eliminated non-standard end user computing platforms, and aligned direction of infrastructure deployment with firm where business and cost efficiencies validated moves.

Managed UBM's central infrastructure, web, and AD teams. A medium sized business, we delivered core infrastructure products from data center to end user, assessed insource/outsource options to maximize efficiency for the firm's divisions, managed vendor providers, and worked with division level CIOs to build an strategy aligned with business needs.Accomplishments included 25% reduction of budget in first year, improved DR service at reduced cost, implemented desktop encryption for C-level, and significantly increased communication between division CIOs and corporate technology.

Manage all infrastructure and web technology for Sixth Gear, a full spectrum auto lender. Joined as employee number 9 as CTO, to build core network, server, messaging, telephony, client support services. Reported to co-CEOs to deliver seamless mix of internal and outsourced technology services to support the new, growing business. Delivered a national MPLS and VPN network to support 4 US based sites, all end user computing systems, local networks and BC/DR. Co-managed the buildout of the four key locations including site-selection, construction, facilities, and technology. Managed and leveraged outsourced application vendors to deploy ASP platform for loan origination, collections, CRM, and data analytics. (Firm exceeded all business targets in first 18 months, but was casualty of Lehman collapse in 2008).

First managing infrastructure and web services for Chase Auto Finance, and later (2005-2007), managing over 3000 server distrbuted computing platform for Treasury Services. Chase Auto included local and wide area networking management, desktop management, management of internal service provider, BC/DR compliance readiness, telephony, and internet site management. Implemented web-based asset management that reduced internal cost allocation from corporate technology by 15%.Treasury Services role was larger scale Infrastructure Operations role with over 75 system and database administrators supporting over 1000 systems. Managed large scale program to virtualize 1000+ physical systems to 200+; implement DST update across infrastructure; and implement significant 10-20% infrastructure expense reduction through internal cost-allocation inconsistencies.

Managed the creation and deployment of internet, intranet, and web services for JPMChase corporate and Retail Banking units. Delivered Chase's first website in 1996 by leading efforts from corporate technology across all business divisions at CIO levels, including alignment with cross-firm disciplines including Audit, Technical Risk, Marketing, Legal, and Operations. Delivered the first consumer-facing single sign-on product for the retail website in 2001, and partnered with Yodlee to deliver private label account aggregation service, again ensuring successful vetting and approval from various technology, marketing, risk and compliance partners in the firm.

Working in architecture and End User Technology services, helped manage the firm's direction in Local Area networking, video conferencing, desktop comuting services, and telecommunications services.Delivered the bank's first (pre-worldwide web) online banking deployment with Quicken and MS Money in 1994, as technology lead on cross-functional team including marketing, product, and legal participants.
