Lead and Managed the Technology Solutions Group of Robbins-Gioia. This involved managing a budget, actuals and forecast for the TSG group. Contributed 3M in revenue for the CY2007. Defined and built the TSG organization to contain the following groups: Business Development, Operations and Practice Areas. Solidified partnerships with Microsoft and acquired several joint marketing and solution development funds to support growth.

Planned and scheduled the time for 17 IT professionals with varying skills sets across multiple business units. Achieved average of 73% direct billable rate of consultants for 2004. Managed the development and packaging of several PM enabling add-in technologies for COTS software. Oversaw the product support function with regards to problems reports and maintenance releases for CAT and Jaguar. Achieved 97% customer satisfaction rating overall for all areas serviced. Supported internal HW operations by providing IT oversight to vendor selection, professional services system integration and executive level reporting. Conducted comprehensive review of the PMBoulevard program; including reviews of financials, technology and resources. Serviced more than 33 external customers and 15 internal customers in the year 2004. Worked to negotiate enterprise licensing with third-party vendors used in the Jaguar product which will ultimately result in RG recovering costs from the customer.

Coordinated and managed the day to day operations of the Operatiosn Development Support Group. Dedicated to providing quality engineered IT solutions to our customers and RG consultants in both the field and the home office. Primary responsibility was resource scheduling of 13 IT professionals across multiple business unit verticals. Achieved a 55% direct billable rate for consultants on the team through creative planning and scheduling of time. Worked to educate Business Development and Operations in the area of IT project management and the dangers of underestimating IT projects.

Developed software to convert Unix system legacy graphics output to XML based Scalar Vector Graphics (SVG) using C, Visual Basic and XML. Deployed and supported implementation of the SVG graphics utility integrated with ASP web pages. Converting Executive Information System (EIS) SQL Server 2K stored procedures/functions to Oracle 8i PL/SQL stored procedures/functions to support Oracle version of EIS application. Designed, tested and provided database support for internal development of web based employee tracking system utilizing ASP, JavaScript, VBScript, SQL2K and automated email routing and delivery.

Served as Chief Software Engineer of Programmed Depot Maintenance Scheduling System (PDMSS), a development and enhancement project for the Airforce serving to refresh legacy system functionalities in an Object Oriented Windows NT 4.0 environment using PowerBuilder 7.0 and Oracle 8. Oversaw all Development, Configuration Management, Testing, Quality Assurance, Scheduling and Documentation pertinent to the software development life cycle. Followed Mil-STD 498 and IEEE software life cycle standards and delivered required documents; Software Development Maintenance Plan (SDMP), Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP), Software Test Plan (STP), Software Training Plan (STrP), System Requirement Specification (SRS), Software Design Document (SDD), Software Development Folders (SDF), Software Test Description (STD), Software Test Results (STR). Prepared for and lead all Software Life Cycle reviews; Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), Customer Validation Test (CVT), System Verification Review (SVR) and System Deployment. Worked closely with customer to guarantee satisfaction. Used Microsoft Project 2000 to plan, schedule and report on project status. Reported monthly project status and relevant project risks at monthly In Process Reviews (IPR).

Served on site at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB). Facilitated and coordinated the reverse engineering of requirements from a UNIX based 4GL (CAT II - Robbins-Gioia Inc. proprietary Program Management software). Performed Object Oriented Analysis and Object Oriented Design (OOA/OOD) to fulfill the derived requirements in a Windows environment. Used Visio 5.0 to produce process flow diagram and Object Models. Participated in Rapid Application Development and Joint Application Development (RAD/JAD) sessions to gather additional functional needs from end users. Responsible for coordinating and identifying Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to communicate with legacy systems via flat file transfers. Gained working knowledge PowerBuilder 6.5.1.

Worked in the Technical Support Group as a Testing Engineer. Used Rational Visual Test 4.0 to develop Test Suites testing a Visual Basic application. Created Test Suites from Software Requirement Specifications and Detailed Design Documents. Delivered Test Suites under strict deadlines on a very tight Rapid Application Development (RAD) effort. Worked in tandem with developers simultaneously developing self validating automated test suites and user documentation. Gained working knowledge of Oracle Client, PERL, Visual Basic, MSSQL Server and MSAccess.

Organized and taught Math 106, entitled Concepts of Math, on the request of the mathematics graduate coordinator. Involved lesson planning, grading and close interaction with students, both traditional freshmen and adult studies students.
