I’ve worked for, and alongside, many different people throughout my career and I've consistently exceeded expectations. I’m known as someone who cares tremendously about the quality of his work, takes the initiative to solve problems, and excels in resolving conflicts. I also consistently seek out responsibilities beyond what my job title would imply, often pleasantly surprising my employers by excelling in unexpected ways. For all the things I’m confident people would say about me, I’m equally confident that no one one I’ve worked with would ever describe me as average. That is exactly why I’ve excelled. I put a lot of energy into trying to find ways to improve the results and performance of myself and my team, but I don’t hold a lot of assumptions about how things should be done. I',m known for questioning things that, on the surface, seem obvious, but these questions often help me avoid the mistakes that have been made by others in the past. These questions also enable me to consider whether an existing strategy still is the most efficient and productive way forward. The needs of customers are constantly changing, therefore the assumptions we have often must change as well. I strongly believe that companies, managers and employees benefit from consistently reevaluating their strategies, and those that do so successfully benefit both the company and employees in the end.
