I am a passionate advocate of Agile methods, Software As A Service and Analytics, and the automation of everything.I have a sustained record of technical leadership in the area of Business Analytics software delivery. I, and my team made Cognos Enterprise Planning into a market leader in the field of financial planning products. With IBM I continued bringing innovative client technologies and modeling tools to the TM1 OLAP toolset and enabling business users to develop financial analytic applications that scale to 1000s of users.I am an evangelist of Analytic Systems and Data Science. I helped IBM UK develop an educational module on Analytics in Practice. Aimed at Masters and Undergraduate students it covers the fundamentals of Business Intelligence, Financial Performance Management, Predictive Analytics and Data Mining as well as the Cognitive Computing. The module is now delivered at Manchester and Warwick Business Schools. I sat on the advisory board for the Warwick Masters in Business Analytics and Consulting Course.
