I am an executive with over 20 years experience building and growing e-commerce companies, and leading great teams building social media web & mobile apps. Working as either a co-founder or key member of the management team, have scaled SAAS web properties to millions of users and millions in revenue, often times very quickly. Because of my experience and technical aptitude, I have the respect of the technical and business teams, speak both languages and am able to bridge the gap and execute.I love working with great development teams and great management teams to bring a product vision to life, design and build great products, and be accountable for producing great results.Hard work required? Not a problem, definitely not a stranger to 7 day work weeks & very long hours. Often, working smart is also working very hard and smart. Asked what best way to describe my skill set I would say Swiss Army knife. Specialties: Proven Founder & leader of technology companies, Product Management, Product Owner, UI/UX, Wireframing, Product Roadmaps, Product Development, M & A, Startups, Social Media, Mobile apps, E-commerce. P & L, Operations, Analytics, CPC Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Viral Marketing, Getting Things Done, Building World Class experiences. Oh and of course, sometimes janitor as needed. Whatever it takes.Tech:Agile & ScrumPivotal, Basecamp & Jira project trackersWordpress, Github, Mixpanel, Salesforce, Google Apps & APi'sDev management: HTML, Responsive design, JavaScript, Ruby, Swift, Java for Android, AtlassianUI/UX: Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Indesign, OmnigraffleBiz: Salesforce, Slack, & the other usual suspectsYears ago, after my first startup was acquired in Web 1.0, not for a multiple but for survival. It was during this time that I made my most impactful mark on the business world. Working post acquisition in the combined entity, along with key members of my team, who I brought along post acquisition, we realized we needed to change the culture & mindset of parent company regarding growth, margin, & marketshare. Culmination of this is the Morse Triangle, which resides on white boards to this day. Good | Fast | Cheap, are the points on the triangle. A business can get 2 points of the triangle with great execution, timing, factors like this, at the expense of the other. For all 3, a business needs a cheat. I've done all paths on my triangle, even the cheat, which is rare but possible. Best execution is to choose 2 points that make most sense for the business, work like hell to achieve

FounderProactive Products Jan 2019 - PresentStarted this company many years ago and it's been latent. Looking for the next best opportunity in sustainability tech, whether as a founder or a team member. Cloud is great, SAAS is great, AI is great, I am looking to help make the most impact for my kids and yours in the world they are inheriting, wherever that is. Whether that's as a senior executive, a mid level operator, or as either and sometimes Janitor, it really makes no difference to me. I am passionate about achieving results, no matter what the role, in something I believe in.

FrancisheeExtreme Pizza Jan 2014 - Jan 2016Mill Valley, California, United StatesOne of my long standing goals was to open an Extreme Pizza franchise close to my home in southern Marin. I was Extreme Pizza’s first IT department, helping their first stores in San Francisco with anything IT related, swapping work for equity. As Extreme grew, I remained close to the company helping them throughout their growth. I have always loved the product, and wanted to be able to pick up the phone and order delivery for my kids. Identified a location in Mill Valley that was able to open a store in a city that does not allow franchises. In an opening called “the best we’ve seen to date” by Extreme Corporate, grew sales in the first quarter to breakeven and established profitability in the first year. The location required a code update remodel which I oversaw while still operating the location. Once remodel was complete, I sold the franchise to a new operator, as the goal was to open, and establish, not long term operate. -
Vp ProductEverloop Jul 2008 - Dec 2013San Francisco Bay AreaThe first kids centric, social media platform for kids. More fun than Facebook, more powerful. customized backgrounds, drag & drop stickers, SMS text message, real-time moderation, a first. Fully functional digital economy, in app purchase, platform ahead of it's timeEverloop was the leading social network for kids 6-13 with patent pending technology that monitored use and kept kids safe. Everloop received several awards including-Winner 2010 Global Entrepreneurship Week / GEW 50: Digital MediaWinner 2010 DEMOgod Award: Best in Class for Social MediaWinner 2010 AlwaysON Global 250: Web 2.0Winner 2010 ONHollywood: Digital Media InnovationWinner 2011 AlwaysON Global 250: Web 2.0Winner 2012 AlwaysON Global 250: Web 2.0As head of product, I steered the vision of the Everloop platform and our mobile initiatives. In 2012, I oversaw the release of a Ruby on Rails 3 platform migration, and release of our initial partner API's, with a cloud migration to AWS.I worked closely with our engineering and business teams and was the cohesive bond between the two, I speak both tech and business given a deep understanding of both and was able to build great product and meet the goals of the executive team and our partners.Everloop was the best social platform with privacy protection, customization, moderation, web, SMS text, mobile apps, ahead of it's time. An experience second to none in social networking, regardless of age. The platform had a devoted audience steady user growth. Sadly, all was gated by US laws requiring identity verification with payment. This inhibited our viral growth and FB won.Implemented an agile development process utilizing scrum and sprints. Top engineers have appreciated my clarity in feature requirements, help in clarifying user wants and requests vs. time to ship with minimal feature creep.Everloop web app and mobile apps were retired, platform and apps were licensed by various companies for B2C/B2B web & mobile applications.
