I was with the team as the service progressed through the private and public Beta phases, whilst meeting strict accessibility requirements.Later, I worked in support of the Prove Your Identity service team under the wider Universal Credit group. Here I worked as a NodeJS developer connecting front end templates with a series of back-end microservices. The service was designed to accept a session handover from the central Universal Credit system, run our own process, and then hand the session back. We managed to implement a complete end-to-end journey by the time my contract came to an end, whilst being adaptable enough to manage changes to the handover processes and the user journey itself. In addition to these duties, I acted as a mentor to associate level front end developers on the DWP's permanent staff. -
