In the book "Rocket Fuel" there is an idea presented that all healthy/growing business there must exist a "Visionary" and an "Integrator". The visionary helps to dream up new ideas and mine for opportunities, and the integrator must help to prioritize and execute those ideas through the people and resources currently available. I am 100% an integrator, and I have served in this role for the last 15 years at two organizations. I served as the Executive Pastor at a fast growing church where I managed growth from 200 to 5000 attendees in just a few years. In that period I oversaw 2 multi million dollar building projects, financials, hiring, organizational goals, volunteer management, operations, and everything else that it takes to support rapid growth.After 12 years in organization leadership at the church I moved to a position as General Manager at a local construction company. In the last 3 years I have worked to bring focus to company which led to 3 years in a row of our highest gross revenue more than doubling the previous 3 year averages. This was accomplished through streamlining our sales and delivery processes, increasing our marketing efforts, changing out all of our employees and subcontractors to better fit our company, and working with the owner to identify long term and short term goals.Peers and co-workers typically define me as a guy who can "Get Stuff Done". I thrive in bringing order from chaos, charting a path, and preparing a team to go further than we have gone before. I have an entrepreneurial spirit, and I like a work environment that is fast paced with a desire for growth. I believe that relationships, respect, and integrity are the key ingredients for a high performing team, and I always demonstrate this to the best of my ability in any interactions.The last thing to know about me is that I'm not just a logistical Type A person. I also enjoy the creative side of things. I started out in college as a graphic designer and video editor, and that experience gave me a unique ability to lead and coordinate marketing/branding efforts across our internal and external teams.I believe that I am very well rounded in all aspects of a growing business, and that experience makes me an ideal "integrator" for any type of business.
