Odyssey House is a non-profit substance abuse and mental health treatment center. I currently work with individual clients working to overcome substance abuse as well as those struggling with mental health issues. Additionally, I lead group sessions with substance abuse clients with an aim on recovery and peer support. I am a co-creator of the mindfulness-based group curriculum currently in use at the outpatient center.

Sexual Health Consultants works with individuals and couples struggling with sexual dysfunction, whether physiological or psychological in nature. Sexual health is an often overlooked and under addressed element in healthcare and SHC is striving to tackle this issue. As an Outreach Coordinator, I helped SHC develop a database of referring medical and psychological providers. This information can be shared with other healthcare and mental health providers ensuring that professionals and clients, alike, have access to pertinent referral sources. Additionally, I provided content and technical support for SHC's website and Facebook page, provided assistance during speaking engagements and conducted business development research.

I was the lead project technician in charge of daily operations, documentation and briefings. My team and I provided exceptional 24/7 technical support of everything, from mobile phones and printers to Windows 7 and Office 2013, for employees of a secondary company. Overall, we were L1 and L2 support for around 1700 end users, supported Windows 7 and 8, OSX 10.1 through 10.10, Android, iOS and Windows phones, any hardware issues, LAN and WLAN support, and an array of applications and other software.I ran weekly metrics briefings and worked closely with the secondary company's leadership to ensure the best possible level of service. Disseminated necessary information across all team members, was one of two individuals to be granted administrator access to proprietary software systems, and was the go to for all high profile or urgent tasks. I was also performed interviews for all new team members and trained each new member using a training program that I developed.Noteworthy accomplishments: • 97% customer satisfaction across entire team• Updated and maintained Knowledge Database consisting of nearly 400 articles • Ticket closure rate of 170% to 201% that of colleagues while maintaining second highest satisfaction rate

Second tier satellite systems engineer in a secure facility, supporting US military operations outside the US. Operated both small tactical systems as well as large strategic system. Performed maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on all systems down to the component level. Acted as hub site and testing center for area of operations. Installed and maintained encryption keys and devices and integrated with network team to ensure communication security and integrity.Noteworthy Accomplishments:• Performed all testing for portable satellite systems prior to their deployment in the field• Primary support team for all distant ends, assisted in implementation and changes as well as troubleshooting

I was a Satellite Systems Operator (25S) with the rank of Sergeant (E/5) in the US Army. I was the Satcom team chief and had 3 direct reports. My team and I deployed twice to Iraq in support of US Operations there. We maintained a 99% uptime for all systems during both deployments and ran the communications systems for the US Commander of Northern Iraq. We supplied secure (encrypted) voice and data services for the division headquarters, directly supporting over 700 end users.My team and I operated, maintained and repaired multiple network and satellite systems. Additionally, I was individually selected to setup three new terminals in three remote locations in support of a Forward Operating Base and a Provincial Reconstruction Team. The later was for a Joint Operations Command Center wherein US commanders worked closely with Iraqi Army, Police, Fire units, all using the satellite terminal that I single-handedly implemented and operated.Noteworthy Accomplishments:• Engineered and applied a system modification that expanded communication capabilities by 200%• Trained, tested and certified over 20 individuals on the satellite system in preparation for combat operation deployments• Hand selected to work with White House Communications team with area operations during the Vice President's visit to Iraq
