Steelhouse Data is my team responsible for aggregating, archiving, analyzing and categorizing data retrieved from internal services and external partners. With this data we created data points that were available across the system to be used by either clients and API consumers or internal systems to drive decision making. My duties encompassed leading the team of data/software engineers/dbas, leading company-wide architecture designs and implementation, low level system design and implementation, designing/building/maintaining the data warehouse and shared data infrastructure, introducing secondary streaming architectures to augment slower batch processes, harvesting data from 3rd party systems and integrating it into our library of data points, designing and writing client reporting tools and API, and generally mentoring anybody that needed help with any project across all of Steelhouse.
