During my time on the L&D team I was responsible for creating a new onboarding program. The plan was to form a strong partnership between HR and the business units to provide an excellent baseline employee experience, with the goal of improving employee engagement and retention. This onboarding program is being trialed through 2024. Additionally, I facilitated our weekly New Employee Orientation to an average audience of 10 employees per week. I created, scheduled, and tracked learning opportunities through SAP SuccessFactors.

During my time at DFW Airport I assisted the Total Rewards team by implementing new benefits and coordinating a benefits fair to support 1,800 airport employees and their families. I also worked with the Learning & Development team to gain experience as a training facilitator by shadowing multiple L&D managers. My efforts with their team culminated with me delivering a one-hour workshop on building interview skills to a classroom of seven people. Lastly, I was the lead Volunteer Coordinator supporting the Innovation Department as we hosted our first-ever event called Innovation Week. This event spanned the course of four days, with 98 speakers across 46 learning sessions designed to inspire innovation. I assembled, trained, and coordinated a team of 60 volunteers to support the event in a combined effort of 200+ man-hours.

Maintained interior and exterior plumbing, natural gas, and jet fuel systems for over 4,000 on and off-base facilities in support of F-15 flight training. Supervised eight junior enlisted Airmen, coordinated heavy equipment training for 20 additional military personnel from various Air Force bases. Managed multiple programs responsible for the health and safety of 30 team members to comply with base and DoD standards, protecting the lives of base personnel. Deployed to Afghanistan (Oct. 2017-Apr. 2018) and Saudi Arabia (Jul. 2019-Dec. 2019), worked in five different teams supporting 24/7 flying missions to deter Iranian invasion.
