Here’s the summary of my journey to became a Web Developer specializing on visual design.My specialities are:- User Interface Design- User Experience Design- Interaction Design- Prototyping- Web DesignI started my journey at the North Karelia College Outokumpu (Audiovisual Communication). This was my first time designing websites. I did well in my studies and was chosen to represent the school at the Skills Finland competition. At this point I used Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS and Javascript. 👉After graduating from Outokumpu, I was accepted at North Karelia University of Applied Sciences to study Communication. My studies included manuscript writing, video and photography, and audio techniques. However my major subject was Webmedia, where we got to test different publishing systems and practiced user interface design. After graduation, I worked as a web developer over a year at Sitefactory Ltd. 👉But I wanted to do more with design, so I started my own company, and as an entrepreneur designed and programmed websites for three years. During those years I gained sound knowledge of working with customers, and how to run my own company, and began building my own design style.👉However I wanted to learn more and work with talented people, which were found at Fabrik, Joensuu. My main responsibilities included User Interface and User Experience planning. I used Sketch, Invision and Principle daily in my work.👉Now I'm at the point in my career where I want to do meaningful and inspirational work that matches my values.
