The advice I gave them was effective and very well received. With the rapid increase of knives being found within educational establishments I have decided to set up on my own providing similar advice to schools and colleges on how to reduce the risk of weapons entering their grounds. I will also be providing talks/presentations to young adults on how to stay safe in the street, plus a special presentation called 'You decide' relating to the use of drugs and alcohol. For 10 years I have had the unique experience in designing out gun, gang and knife crime in some of the most violent areas of London. This has given me an extensive skill set on how to provide crime prevention design advice in difficult situations. I designed crime reduction initiative Club Industry Minimum Operating Standards to reduce the risk of weapons from entering nightclubs, pub and bars and School Security Assessment Method to reduce the risk of weapons and gang crime within schools. CIMOS has proved to reduce Trident overall crime by 13%. I worked with local partners such as Councils, Transport for London, police, licensed premises, registered state landlords, housing associations, community groups and retailers, town center managers, betting organizations, schools and colleges.Lastly I designed presentations for students of year 5/6/7 on Safety In The Street and one for adults the whole purpose is to reduce them from being victims of crime. It proved to be extremely successful in reducing shoulder surfing and crime at these machines.Used simple crime reduction measures to prevent serious anti social behaviour, the plethora of dangerous contaminated drug paraphernalia found in public parks and alleyways, prevent prostitution in fire exit routes, begging and robberies.
