· Worked with Third Way's National Security Project to develop policy ideas and legislation involving key United States interests, both abroad and at home.· Crafted memos on topics including the proposed closure of Guantanamo Bay, detainee policy and torture, and the legality of CIA operations within Pakistan.

· Worked for the Subcommittee on Intellectual Property, the Courts, and the Internet.· Conducted legal research for a number of hearings, including antitrust hearings involving the NBA, patent reform, Internet piracy, judicial impeachment, and other areas.· Prepared the Chairman's briefing book on complex legislation altering the Federal Rules of Evidence.
