I have recently changed roles to Civil Design Supervisor at River Bend. My past role as Shift Technical Advisor (STA) at River Bend Station was to be the technical/safety conscience of the crew by providing independent oversight in the Main Control Room. I obtained a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) Certification for River Bend Station in February of 2018. I also fulfilled the Field Support Supervisor (FSS) for my crew. As FSS, I managed the workload of the crew's 10 Nuclear Equipment Operators and ensured that scheduled work was carried out in a safe, controlled manner.Previously, I have 3 years of Design Engineering experience at Entergy in structural, pipe flaw, seismic, geotechnical, and rigging evaluations. In my time in Engineering, I managed various Engineering contracts with all of Entergy's EOCs (Sargent & Lundy, Enercon, DP Engineering, AES, and AREVA). These contracts ranged from Fukushima Flooding Reanalysis to implementation of design modifications to River Bend Station during Refueling Outage 18. I successfully completed the 2014 Maintenance Rule Structural assessment for RBS. This structural assessment includes the continued monitoring of all safety related structures and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation. During Refueling Outage 18, I supported the Operations Hydro test and performed Visual Leakage tests (VT-2) of the Reactor Pressure Vessel behind the Bioshield Wall. I graduated from Mississippi State University in December of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering. Before graduating, I successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
