I am a Foster Care Case Manager at Cornerstones of Care, a non-profit organization that provides a range of services to children and families in need. I have been working in this role since June 2022, after graduating from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.In my current role, I work with foster children and their families to ensure their safety, well-being, and permanency. I conduct assessments, develop service plans, coordinate referrals, monitor progress, and facilitate reunification or adoption. I also collaborate with therapists, attorneys, and judges, to advocate for the best interests of the children.My goal is to continue to learn and grow as a professional in the human services field and to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I serve. I am motivated by the challenges and rewards of helping children and families overcome their difficulties and achieve their potential. I am also eager to apply my knowledge and skills in criminal justice to address the root causes and effects of social problems and injustice.
