I work alongside a financial advisory team called Carnegie Group, which is comprised of two financial advisors with a combined total of 50 years of experience, and an assistant training to be an additional advisor. While assisting the daily operational task such as communicating with clients, maintaining an organized schedule, and processing various forms, I amlearning the advisory business each day. I listen to the advisor's communication skills with the client, understand the various products we offer to our client's portfolio, and have dealt with the back-office/company's paperwork processes to complete our promises. While maintaining this role, I am gaining more knowledge and confidence within the financial advisory industry.

RU-Fit was a part-time position that taught me how to educate and guide international students through their first year at Rutgers New Brunswick. This opportunity specialized in financial, academic, social, and health services. However, it provided international students access to a support group here at the Rutgers New Brunswick campus. I was in charge of being a peer leader, mentor, and most importantly a friend that helped guide the new international students through their first semester.

During my summer internship at Northwestern Mutual, I was able to direct an independent team and maintain an individual business practice by obtaining new clients. While being responsible for searching and maintaining relationships between current and future clients. In addition, I was able to perfect my professional sales language within the life insurance industry. Which includes prospecting, approach, factfinder, and closing meetings. I accomplished this by working alongside multiple financial advisors that range from three - over twenty years of experience within the financial service industry.
